The project proposes the transformation of two former commercial units into two contemporary loft apartments, driven by a clear architectural intention: the recovery and reactivation of an industrial heritage space. The existing concrete structure is preserved and exposed, allowing the raw materiality of the building to become the main spatial identity and a permanent trace of its original condition.

The intervention is conceived as a dialogue between the robustness of the existing shell and the precision of a new interior system. Rather than introducing conventional partitions, the layout is organized through custom-made MDF built-in furniture elements, designed as inhabitable volumes that operate as architectural devices. These pieces define programs, integrate storage, and establish subtle boundaries between public and private areas while maintaining the open and continuous character typical of loft living.

Light becomes a fundamental design tool. The MDF elements are strategically positioned to filter, frame, and modulate natural light, shaping the perception of depth and generating changing atmospheres throughout the day.
